I guess sometimes good things come after a fall. After the heartache of losing the property we were desperately hoping to have, a flat popped up on the internet. It was very (for the UK) cheap, looked quite spacious and was in the city we want to live in but hadn't (up until now) found anywhere in our price range.
Well, to cut a long story short, we viewed it, made an offer on it and had it accepted!
Now we are keeping everything crossed that it all goes through smoothly with no problems.
